The Fellowship of British Hairdressing held their first Hair and Vision Event in London on Monday 19th March at The Sway Bar, Covent Garden London. They promised us a spectacular evening with an amazing line up of talent.
The new format did not disappoint, the amazing line up included;
- Jamie Benny – Hare and Bone
- Luke Benson – Luke Benson Hair
- Jordanna Cobella – Cobella
- Skyler McDonald – Skyler
- Junior Green – Junior Green
- Anne Veck – Anne Veck
- Sean Dawson – Electric
- Tina Farey – Rush
- Akin Konizi – HOB
Coming to an event like this you always feel inspired and it’s a great way to network with like minded hairdressers. I loved Luke Benson’s 90″s inspired look, another favourite was Tina Farey.
The star of the show was the legendary Angelo Seminara who was interviewed by Fellowship President Karine Jackson, who shared his inspiration. Angelo has this amazing way of making you feel as though you are on the same level as him, he is a joy to listen to. Angelo then treated us to a demonstration of his latest invention called the Hair Imprinter. This genius device allows you to print patterns on the hair with colour. When you see this device you’ll wonder why no one has done this before, but that is what makes Angelo so visionary. You could hear a pin drop whilst Angelo was demonstrating. I have had the pleasure to see Angelo a few times and I am always in ore of his talent and vision.
I had a great night and highly recommend that you come along to the next. The event is travelling the country with new guest artists in each venue. For more information visit the Fellowship website.
The Fellowship offer amazing events up and down the country, they support emerging talent through their many opportunities.
