As part of my role at ghd I am able to work on some cool events but there is nothing quite like London Fashion Week.

This season we worked on an incredible show for Lulu Guinness, led by Zoe Irwin as lead stylist. I am a “super fan” of LG, My beloved  LG red suitcase has travelled the world with me and I lovingly call it Lulu. When I heard about ghd working with LG for fashion week I could not be more excited!

The hair had a 1980’s theme, celebrating movement and curls, naturally curly hair was enhanced and straight hair was curled. Zoe imitated the way girls twisted their hair back in the 80’s. The hair was accessorised with the beautiful Stephen Jones Millinery.

This was no ordinary presentation this was a disco dancing fun extravaganza where models danced for hours in the gorgeous LG outfits. Guest were treated to cocktails as they viewed the collection, you could not help having fun at this show.

Being an 80’s girl I had the best day surrounded by fabulous bags, shoes and clothes!

I love this modern twist on a vintage classic. The glossy waves are held in place with purposeful pins continuing the accessory trend with a classic fashion week ponytail.

This is just beautiful.

Romantic, yet a young nostalgic vibe was carried perfectly through the collection. The knotted braid was accessorised with a simple ribbon tied in a bow.
