Finding the perfect summer dress

Finding the perfect summer dress gets more dramatic every year, with the recent glimpse of a possible UK summer the fight to find the go to dress becomes a frenzied internet search! I am travelling to Dubai next week and as per normal leaving everything to the last minute hopelessly searching for “The Dress”.

I have tried to be a floral dress type of girl but never felt completely comfortable so finding the new trend of polka-dot dresses was a delight, this has already taken over instagram and reaching a cult status when Topshop sold out of the silky monochrome midi dress as soon as it landed. I have just ordered the similar midi version but in hope they bring it back. Don’t despair as there are many other versions to keep us going. I have done an internet shop today and can share the the polka-dot love.

Polka-dot is the pattern of the season so when you have found your favourite don’t hang around as you too will miss the dress of the summer. Have a look at my Pinterest summer dress boards for more inspiration. As you know I am not in my 20’s and someone described by age is like reaching the autumn of my life (not sure I am ready for my leaves to fall of yet!) but I do have an issue with anything shorter than a midi! I am loving the maxi and longer length midi’s that are being found on the high street.

My top picks today have been from Zara, Topshop, Mango and H&M and ASOS, my shopping arrives next week and I will give you an instagram story update for keepers and non keepers.

      Hi India,
The black and What spotty dress is Topshop (it was sold out but maybe be back in), and the maxi blue dresses are from Zara. The rest were from ASOS. I hope that helps? Thanks for getting in contact.
