FELLOWSHIP LUNCHEON

I love this event, I love the venue, the people but most of all it means it’s Christmas!

The British Fellowship for Hairdressing is a UK independent organisation that focuses on the standard of hairdressing, helping it’s members with support and a platform to shine. This event is about celebrating the year past, but also bringing us together to push from better standard in hairdressing for the future and most importantly who are the winners of the Fellowship awards.

It’s a beautiful event at the Dorchester  hotel on Park Lane. For me it always gets me in the Christmas mood and is a great place to catch up with my industry favourites, and network. It’s an early start at 11am for our first glass of Champagne but I always manage it!

Hosted by the extremely funny Ken Picton, who brought Wales and good cheer to his speech. He was joined on stage by President Karine Jackson and Secretary Jo Martin, who Ken referred to them as his angels…. I think Ken might be their devil!

Ken also brought his homeland to the food, we were treated to gorgeous Welsh lamb and a spectacular flaming Dragon dessert. Probably one of the most instagrammed parts of the day!

We said goodbye to The FAME team 2017 and hello to the new FAME team of 2018 and discovered who was the Fellowship hairdresser of the year.

Congratulations to all, I look forward to celebrating next year!
